Must be a recent graduate. This position requires a self motivated sales person who excels at finding new opportunities, developing those opportunities into events and then further expanding the relationship. The ability to cold call businesses, educational institutions and other potential customers is a must. Event planning, organizational skills, attention to detail and a great telephone manner and interpersonal skills will further round out the skills and experience you bring to the position. Social media familiarity is helpful to support your sales efforts. Travel may be required 4-8 days per month and having a vehicle is required. The position pays a base salary plus commission.
Clear, concise communication skills in person, over the phone, via email, and other online tools utilized by Swift Eyewear
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office tools including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to write business materials – memo, expense report, etc.
Ability to maintain organization of events, daily and weekly tasks, and flow of information to required Swift team members
Maintain updated tasks online with updates as steps are taken to complete individual tasks
Problem solving – find solutions as problems arise
Ability to listen actively and respond appropriately in order to find solutions for individual accounts
Swift Eyecare/Eyeglasses for Education
Develop accounts via outside sales tactics – cold calling, referrals, etc.
Develop Memorandum Of Understanding with accounts – outline expectations and duties for both Swift Eyewear and the individual account. MOUs will be similar but optimized to each individual account
Manage flow of marketing assets (see E4E media kit and schedule)
Ensure marketing materials are properly distributed in a timely fashion by account rep
Customer service as required
Find, evaluate, sign and train Student Brand Ambassadors (SBAs)
Oversee SBA network – enable each to meet sales quotas; monitor social media usage for proper Swift promotion and representation; and identify problem areas for each SBA and reach solutions
Coordinate dates with Dr and account contacts
Keep Dr informed with directions, number and timing of appointments
Coordinate rooms with account contacts
Generate awareness of event – work with account rep for best way to do so
Generate appointment sign-ups (online or in person as required per account)
Confirm appointments prior to event
Appointment reminders day prior to event and day of prior to appointment times
Input data into iSam
Organize all required materials
Customer service as required
Maintain sample inventory
Set up online appointment calendar for new events
Develop social media schedule (set number and type of Facebook posts) – blogs, deal of the month, promotions, etc.
Tweets re: on goings with Swift – promotions, event updates, news, blog link, etc.
Coordinate art assets with Ryan
Actively respond to inquiries on both Facebook and Twitter
Utilize HootSuite to manage social medias and schedule Facebook posts
Social media goal: build online community to strengthen Facebook marketing efforts via increased reach
Become familiar with optics in terms of prescription, frames, manufacturing process, value chain, help clients select appropriate look, etc.
